You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time? Run complete (9,390,012)
Yes title, I did it again. I've been off the PS3 since Mathusalem (figure of speech thb) and I decided to give Normal another go as I now know that I missed a lot of points just by doing the same approach as I did on my Hard KR. I cannot stress enough the pain I went through since I was so rusty at the game. Though I lost at least 8,000 points I cannot complain about the current score I've got for this run. Been quite the revelation since I did my last KR on this game.
My scorelist for now:
Day 1: 804,241 (742,363)
Day 2: 1,079,630 (1,001,709)
Day 2-Ayane: 786,127 (694,290)
Day 3: 1,032,656 (960,444)
Day 4: 856,999 (758,449)
Day 5: 899,719 (826,518)
Day 6: 720,300 (688,638)
Day 6-Ayane: 803,594 (734,041)
Day 7: 1,147,510 (1,077,705)
Day 8: 1,259,236 (1,095,993)
Current score: 9,390,012 (8,580,150)
difference with previous run: 809,862
I am pretty pleased as I got an extra 62k just by doing the same on my Hard KR. Idk what score I might get but I'll try to get 8,75 million. We'll see how it works out. I might add commentary but I'm not sure if I will cuz I don't have a proper microphone to do it. Anyone else up for the task will be mentioned in the description if I upload the run on YouTube.
Hope you guys will enjoy it cuz I might take my time to do the run this time instead of rushing it. Currently editing the videos and it is crazy.
UPDATE: video got corrupted while exporting, I need a new computer and a new Elgato soon. I might buy one once I got a new PC.

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
Indeed. What inspired me was JTB's hp1 karma run. Knowing that a certain score is possible, I decided to go for it. But as I said before, I'll take my time now to do the run. That way I can approach all these fights properly and without losing too many points. I haven't started Day 2 yet, but I might do it today or tomorrow
I'm aiming for 1 million at least on Day 2, and I have done some research from my previous videos. I looked at every encounter and I was able to count all the enemies on each encounter. With that method I might well crush my old highscores by a mile.
I am quite lucky to not have deleted the old videos so that I can learn from it. But unfortunately I cannot record any videos until I get a new computer.

Wanted to do a practice run to see a potential score but it is not required as I got an extra 78k out of Day 2. I am more then pleased here. Updated the OP and added a total score.
Pleased to know I am 140k ahead of my old score. Day 2 Ayane will be done next week

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
If I ever decide to do a practice run again for a certain day, please remind me that I shouldn't be doing this for a highscore but just to see what my potential score might be. Currently 231k ahead of my old score, and if I remain on par with my old score then 8,75 million is crushed without any difficulty.
I need a break from all that action, might do a zombies run on Black Ops 3...

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
I tried it again but the highest score I got after a real run was just 750k and I think I will keep the score from that practice run which was 786k. That puts me 231k ahead of my old score.
Keeping myself on par with my old score will guarantee push me over 8,8 million which was my goal to start with. But if I keep crushing my old scores by a mile I might break the threshold of 9 million. I sincerely hope that I won't get any glitches anymore.
Now that I know how I can make those BNS cooperate, I can get way more out of two fights then I did in 3 fights.

Completed. Just a few errors here and there which costed me around 9k. Further no complaints about the run itself as I was able to get a shitload of points on the Grip-of-Murder challenge for Day 2. I just need to analyze Day 3 before I continue but not today.

Ayane must be good for Karma. She is great at chaining OTs.

That is where some sneaky points are. OT's at the end of an encounter are really useful to get a highscore.

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
I did some practice runs on Day 3 and I got a max of 995k for a practice run. I did a run for real this time and I got over a million on Normal. I am 303k ahead of my old score and it seems I'm not slowing down for a minute. I got a good feeling about Day 4 and I think I can get some extra points here and there. I'll do a few practice runs first before I even attempt to do it for real.

I am really. Though Day 4 seems to be such a PITA when you reach Bridge 6. Consecutively my UT was gone every time a new wave spawned that is part of the same fight. I'll try it again tomorrow. I'll let you know how it went.

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
It took me a lot of effort (and a lot of ps3 controllers
) but I managed to get a decent score on the plate here. Not sure but I think I am 402k ahead of my old score. I cannot believe I actually pulled it off.
Day 5 will not be for this weekend but I might do a practice run on Days 6A, 7 and 8 to see what my potential score is as I never had any videos for it. The horror I went through not knowing how many enemies each wave of the ToV had was frustrating. I aim to get at least 875k though those BS Ninjas will prove to be a bit difficult to farm for karma. Anyways I'll see what score I get and I will have to see if any improvement can be made. Not sure where if done but I'll try.
Day 4 was, as stated before, an enormous task and having some segments missing in the video was a pain. In general I think there are still some missed points but I'm not bothered getting those as I will not restart the run from scratch to prevent that damn bug from happening. Any score, I'll just take it and see if it is better then the previous score. In retrospect, I think on the entire run so far, I can still improve my score even more. Though being 402k ahead of my old score is already a huge achievement here. I originally though that 8,6M was a possible maximum but now I know that I can easily score 9M if I get at least 850k on Day 5, but again said, 875k is my minimum goal.
Day 6 should be a minimum of 700k, Day 6A should go for at least 750k, Day 7 I think I can squeeze out 1,1M and Day 8 I can get at least 1,1M out of it too. Calculated, this should bring me easily over 9,1M

Good luck, Julius, I'm counting on you to break 9 Mil.

My first karma score ever was 7,5mil. My last run on normal difficulty gave me 8,58mil. Now I am going for 9mil.

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
I did a few practice runs and managed to get an average 843k. Though barely 18k extra I think I can squeeze some more out of this Day. I just need to analyze my vids again before I even go for a real run. I just wish those BS Ninjas were a bit more cooperative...

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
Still on Day 5. The runs I've been doing were test runs. My goal is to get a consistent farming, but so far most attempts have been in vain. My goal still stands: 875k minimum though 900k would be a dream. I think 925k is impossible, though I've proven myself wrong before in the past runs.
From all the enemies, the BS Ninjas and the LOA sliders are the least cooperative. For the BSN, de-limb, and for the sliders, meditation. Though both enemy types are very aggressive. The weekend that comes I'll try to get it done for real.

I think I will call an NVM on this. Did a run for real to see if I could get above 850k and I managed to get 899k.I was a bit disappointed for the fact I came 281 points short of getting 900k, but now I think it is possible. I'll just take the score and let us analyze Day 6, such a pain to karma farm as well.

Re: You did it again? Really? Another KR on Normal this time?
The hardest thing is to keep count of the amoint of enemies you kill during a specific encounter. What is worse is that you really want to keep track of the amount of enemies on the field at a time and adjust yourself. I'm not sure when I will approach Day 6, because I have to watch my older videos and take note of the amount of enemies there for every encounter.
For now I can rejoice, broke my previous score for Day 5 with 73k which puts me 475k ahead of my old score.
