Bit of some troubleshooting issues

So I just set up my 360 on a new home theater plus flat screen combo and I am not getting any music. I had previously turned off the music in game but now nothing plays. I have also found some audio glitches throughout, in particular during ch5 at the boss fight no sound plays during the cutscene

Anyone had this happen? All other sounds play fine but the music is just missing entirely.

Hmm... not to ask a stupid question but you checked the in game volume settings and all that?

Is it just NG2 or all games? I don't know about this stuff but if it's the music specifically could it be a problem with that one channel/speaker? Like the cable or connection. Or Xbox system settings I dunno.
