NGS1 Color Editing MODDING

Post by Princesspeachfan2014 » Thu Jul 20, 2017 12:49 am

So, i asked help on one of this forums, and Fiend Busa said that the only NG that is easy to edit characters colors is Sigma 1. So, basically, first some questions, ansewer them all PLS:

1- Do i need a Digital PSN version of NGS1 or a Disc of NGS1 in order to mod colors?
2- I want to edit's Rachel's colors with her Pure Medium (Blonde) Hairstyle, So basically i want to edit her Black corset and Make it A Red-Pink, but with her Ayane hairstyle. (Pure Medium) How is that possible, Tell me the process.

Read about hex editing through a google search and you will figure out the process.

This will get you started.

A place to ask for help, after you do some homework.

There is no easy switch to flip here you have to put time and effort in to understand how it works. That dickhead on youtube is only wasting your time.

Wow...what the hell did I do?

Hey OP,

Rachel does seem to have two hair styles, so it might be possible to change her color via editing the save file...but I highly doubt it.

I would start by finding the offset were the hair style is located (I think she even has an option for black hair?) If so, get two save files, one with her regular hair, and one with black.

Find the offset that holds the hair color, enter all the hexadecimal values possible (this will take an insane amount of time) and cross your fingers.
