I think 4000+ sec is possible using just Dabi but I got hit a lot. Lunar only was a huge failure. Need to learn how to counter attack.

Again with the messed up time limits :facepalm2: . I really liked the staircase challenge and releasing the UT before they appear.

For the staircase challenge, pretty sure releasing the UF before enemies actually spawn is the only way to make the time limit. You can do this for the 1st 90 kills. Which time limits did you feel were messed up? I will say that the 1st 2 imp fights are tricky, and the person who came up with the idea of killing them before the actual timed fight was brilliant. As for the ogre fights, none of the safe spots in NGB beside the magma lake one work because your dabi UT wont hit anything. Overlooked that the sloth boss fight actually only has 45 secs so there was not a lot of room for improvement. Updated OP with score and link.

Glad someone appreciated it. Even though there are only 3 real chps left, I am going to take my time and try to get good scores.

NG1 Karma Runs always impress the hell out of me, so there's much precision and thought put into every action and every fight. I seriously couldn't handle such massive contraint / constant pressure, I just throw up my hands like, "I DUNNO HOW THESE GUYS DO IT!" :laugh2:

In theory, inazuma LVL 1 or 2 should do the trick. But you need to try to get as much UT's as possible since there is no score given for her because of a bug in the game itself.

the problem with inazuma is that Alma bounces too far to land an UT on time. I got 3 UTs in the fight through brute force and just going to leave it at that. 4 UTs would have been nice... Got 1,669,030 for this chapter that I am not too happy with but ugh there were so many frustrating fights in this chapter. And it is not going to get any better. The next chapter is my least fav chapter in the game by far. On my NGB VH KR, I tried the 1st ghost fish fight over 100+ times and just accepted a bad score in the end.

You scored 16k higher then tomii90 did.
If you keep this up you will get the highscores on each chapter.

About 8K of that came from shuriken farming wasp fiends. *Insert balbaid comment here about messed up time limits* :flame:

EDIT: Ok I will also say that this chapter was the main reason for leaving Lunar at lvl1 way back, but pretty sad that I had to upgrade the lunar just to get 50 UTs in the AC. If anyone else is going to try this, get 50 UTs at AC with the dabi and keep Lunar at lvl1 for this chapter. It would be a lot easier to get UTs on the doppleganger fights with lvl1 Lunar.

I think I can get 26mil for sure. Trying all the hard strats to attempt 26.1mil. On that note, I am about the cry because I finally got the score I wanted on the UF clone fight. 4 UT and 2 ET and time. Making save backups because this is a fight I don't ever want to do again.

Chapter 17 is way too hard. Sorry going to give up on 26.1 mil.

EDIT: Final chapter 17 score is 1,196,380. There were 16k that I decided to not get because they were frustrating. Which were they you might ask? In fight 1 with 3 berserkers 12 UTs are possible, but I settled on only getting 11 UTs and 1 ET because it is really inconsistent to charge up a full UT against berserkers in that fight. I definitely missed 10K in the 4th fight with fish and cats, but that fight actually reminded me why I do not like KRing NGB VH/MN. You are supposed to farm 1 UT on 1 cat but wow it is frustrating. Sometimes your Dabi UT will whiff and sometimes you might hit more than 1 cat with 1 UT, which sucks. It gave me bad memories on the Ice cave fight with Ogres in my VH run, which I have to say was the 2nd hardest fight overall. Getting doubles when you don't want them and having your last UT whiff after 4+ min of farming is not fun. Also only got 9 UTs and 1 ET on the 5th fight, but whatever that gauntlet is horrible. Now my 1st fight in chapter 18 is bad, but I don't care. I got a very good score on spirit doku and just want to finish this run now, although I will definitely work on getting the high chapter score.

That was a good chapter. Just a question, wouldn't it be better if you use the WH on the fish fights?

On the 1st fight, GB is definitely better. I got bit a lot trying WH due to random spawns and huge fight area making it hard to manipulate i-frames. Icelord showed that GB works in this fight, and I have to say it makes this encounter much easier as well. Using WH on the 3rd fight can move you and possibly get some of the fish stuck behind the wall if you move far enough. Not fun.

I can only say that if you want a highscore then you need like 2.3 million on this chapter. Knowing you, you will make it there easily.

I can only say that you CH17 was better then Tomii's
